Ok — this time the lack of posts wasn’t entirely my fault. Swear to god. We went through a brief period of increased activity around here thanks to some quality love from the fine folks at StumbleUpon (initiated by our good friend Matt from Culture Kills), and unfortunately that comes with increased risk. Last weekend the site was killed by either a hacker, a total fluke, or a combination of the two. After some solid dealings with my much loved hosting provider, I was able to get the site back up and running by the following morning.
Of course that lead to other problems. To get a back-up of the site up and running, I needed to upgrade my Wordpress to version 2.5.1. Sounds great, but it turns out 2.5 doesn’t play nice with K2 (my theme). What you see looks kosher, but I had zero access to my back end. After spending a week trying to resolve the issue, I finally caved and rolled the site back to 2.3.3. So now we’re back up and running. Gonna try to make up for it as best I can this week. Also — you may see a new look in the future so I can roll forward to 2.5 again. I loves me my K2, but unless they can get their shit together I’m going to have to abandon it.
Again — big props to A Small Orange. If you need any kind of hosting, these are the cats to visit. I’ve experienced nothing but fantastic hands on service with them, and everyone I’ve referred to them says the same thing. Hosting starts as low as $25/yr, and you can save $5 out of the gate with the coupon fjetsam$5. Get off blogspot and get on the trolley, people!

A Hacker? Wow… WTF! I certainly didn’t want that to happen.
Not your fault sir. The only thing that annoys me is that the day we were down somehow killed the wave of traffic I was riding high on!
